Unity invites all needy families to come out to celebrate a Miracle Christmas with UiC of NE Polk and its Sponsors and Santa's friends! Plus we will have a variety of bikes or gift cards to giveaway! (ONE per household; while supplies last).

About the event
This year's Miracle Christmas will be an opportunity for people living at or below the poverty level to recieve a bike, or gift card (one or the other and not both) and toys to help with the holiday season. Â Unity has two new sponsors who has encouraged us to focus on the most vulnerable within our community -- the truly impoverished. Therefore, Â to be eligible for a gift card (one per family), clients must be at or beloow 200% of the federal poverty level as determined by the Federal Office of Managemtn and Budget (OMB) based on the most recent federal Census data and as a revised annually (or more frequently) by the U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services. In compliance with these regulations, Unity in the Communt must screen cleints for income eligiblity to ensure that this C.S.B.G. program benefit is being used for income eligible clients.
